Welcome to Kimpton George Hotel. At this time, we are open and accepting guests.

We're continuing to monitor developments and following guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and the State of Washington DC. To help safeguard your health and best serve you during your stay with us, we've made necessary modifications to our amenities and services. In addition to our rigorous standard housekeeping routines, we've increased the frequency of our cleaning procedures and have put in place additional measures to enhance our disinfection protocol in public areas.

Guest Amenity Fees

  • Guest Amenity Fees of $25 + tax will be charged per night of your stay and include the following
    1. $10 electric scooter credit per day per room
    2. PPE welcome kit
    3. Peloton bike in the Fitness Center
    4. PressReader
    5. Unlimited local and long distance phone calls
    6. Business Services Free printing and faxing (up to 50 pages
    7. In‐room bottled water (2 per day)
    8. Upgraded WiFi speed throughout the hotel’s guest rooms and public spaces

Signature Kimpton Programs

  • Where can I find coffee in the morning?
    • All guestrooms are equipped with coffee machines
  • Morning Kick-Start will feature a “Kimpton Get Up + Go” playlist and complimentary access to Press Reader content on guests’ personal devices
  • Evening Social Hour will now offer an opportunity to unwind and relax over a glass of wine in the comfort of your room. Visit the front desk for additional details.
  • Kimpton bikes are available on a first come first served basis and will have an additional layer of disinfection with the guest present prior to bike check out.
  • Robes for use during your stay are available upon request.
  • In-room Spa Services have been suspended

Parking Services:

  • Valet parking is currently suspended. The closest self-parking option is Colonial Parking Garage across the street from the hotel. Their parking fees begin at $22 per night.

Housekeeping Services:

  • To protect the safety of our guests and employees, our housekeeping service is completely contactless. This means that our housekeeping team will not enter your room during your stay. Our team will check in daily via text to offer contactless delivery of towels, sheets or trash pick-up. You can also text us directly at 202-866-6957 to request delivery at any time including our “Forgot It, We Got It” items such as a toothbrush or razor.
  • We have removed certain guest room items (think throw pillows, pens/paper, books and robes) as a precautionary measure or in some cases made changes to other in room amenities. Learn more about Kimpton’s Approach to Clean.

Minibar:

  • In need of a snack or a cold drink? Stop by the front desk to purchase a variety of mini-bar items from our pop-up bodega.

Dining Services:

  • Grab and Go items are available for purchase daily from Bistro Bis. Place an order ahead of time or stop by the restaurant to order with a host.
  • Bisto Bis restaurant is open for outdoor dining and pick-up. View Hours and Menus.

In-Room Dining:

  • In Room Dining is available for guest room contactless delivery for lunch and dinner, with limited hours. Place an in-room dining order by pressing on the IRD button from guestroom phone.

Concierge Services:

  • Looking for ice? For your safety, we have suspended our in-floor ice machine service in lieu of contactless delivery. Contact us at 202-866-6957 and we’ll take care of the rest.
