From the moment you enter from E Street, you encounter a two-story interior space with white coral stone walls and a patterned floor of ceramic tile with black granite inlays. Designed by the renowned architectural firm Adamstein & Demetriou, the sleek décor with splashes of contemporary design elements is enhanced by a signature collection of modern artwork. Accented by expanses of glass, stainless steel, and coral stone, our unique boutique is a fusion of vintage chic and urban contemporary cool.

A Splash of Color, a Dash of Wit. The Hotel George is an artful masterpiece of modern design. Tall windows provide an airiness that allows interior spaces to merge effortlessly with the Washington, DC streetscape. A custom-designed Cassina Usa chrome and glass table hangs in delicate balance to a Louis Poulsen Artichoke chandelier, a companion to the original in the permanent collection at New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Sofas and chairs atop boldly colored rugs are part of the Utrecht collection and designed by Dutch architect Gerrit Rietveld in 1935. Above the sofa hangs Steve Kaufman’s painting, Napoleon, created as part of the artist’s Homage to Genius series.
